Grandmaster Cassette DEEP PURPLE - SPLAT

SPLAT! is the new, powerful studio album by Deep Purple, produced by Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, Kiss, Lou Reed). Deeply rooted in the band's classic DNA and at the same time carried by a strikingly contemporary energy, it is their heaviest album in decades: heavy, direct, and recorded live in the studio.

At the heart of SPLAT! is an idea by Ian Gillan. The album does not understand the end as destruction, but as transformation: SPLAT! envisions the end of humanity not as a clumsy apocalyptic scenario, but as a metamorphosis beyond physical existence.

Product Details

The cassette used is based on the legendary “Grandmaster 456 Formula” (Ferro Type I) developed exclusively by Revox for music cassettes and stands for the highest quality and a wonderful analog sound.

For optimal production, the production masters are created by Christoph Stickel, a Grammy-nominated mastering engineer, in his mastering studio in Vienna and are perfectly tuned to the specific properties of the cassette tape used. These exclusive masters are then used for the manufacturing of the audio cassettes at the Revox factory.

The exclusive Revox cassette housing, which is manufactured in Europe and secured with five screws, guarantees high mechanical quality and precise workmanship. The result is a significant contribution to precise and long-lasting cassette transport and the best possible listening experience.

The triple-folded insert card (J-card) contains specially selected images and a great deal of additional information about the music and the artists on this exclusive Revox audio cassette. The transparent cassette case (snap-box) protects the cassette and the insert card and provides a direct view of the cassette.
