Grandmaster Cassette IN FLAMES - FOREGONE

With “Foregone,” In Flames combine their melodic death metal roots with modern arrangements and catchy choruses. Released in 2023, the album combines heavy guitar riffs, melodic solos, and Anders Fridén’s signature alternation between harsh and clean vocals. Songs such as “State of Slow Decay,” “Meet Your Maker,” and “The Great Deceiver” represent the album’s high-energy side, while “Pure Light of Mind” provides a melodic counterpoint.

For this cassette release, the album was specially mastered to tape by Christoph Stickel. Revox Grandmaster Type I tape and a five-screw cassette shell form the technical foundation of this edition for lovers of analog recordings.

The cassette used is based on the legendary “Grandmaster 456 Formula” (Ferro Type I), developed exclusively by Revox for music cassettes, and represents the highest quality and a wonderful analog sound.

For optimal production, the production masters are created by Christoph Stickel, a Grammy-nominated mastering engineer, in his mastering studio in Vienna and perfectly tailored to the special characteristics of the cassette tape used. These exclusive masters are then used to manufacture the audio cassettes at the Revox factory.

The exclusive Revox cassette shell, manufactured in Europe and secured with five screws, guarantees high mechanical quality and precise workmanship. The result is a major contribution to precise, durable cassette playback and the best possible listening experience.

The tri-fold insert (J-card) contains specially selected images and a wealth of additional information about the music and the artists on the exclusive Revox audio cassette. The transparent cassette case (snap-box) protects the cassette and the insert while allowing a direct view of the cassette.
