The IsoTek EVO3 Synchro is an extraordinary power cable with an integrated innovative electronic circuit that suppresses DC components, rebalances the AC sine wave, and reduces power supply hum. The cable consists of three extremely high-quality silver-plated OCC copper conductors (Ohno Continuous Cast), with the individual strands square in shape to allow for particularly tight bundling. A Teflon FEP dielectric guarantees very uniform insulation over a wide frequency range.
For optimal shielding against high-frequency and electromagnetic interference, the three conductors are lightly twisted, and the entire cable is surrounded by Mylar foil and a grounded OFC braid. A cotton insert provides greater stability and reduces microphony effects. The robust, particularly flexible PVC outer jacket ensures very good stability.

Sine Wave Correction
To ensure the best possible sound quality, the power grid must meet two basic requirements: a clean 50 Hz sine wave provided by a source with the lowest possible impedance and the absence of high-frequency noise. Low impedance ensures a nearly constant voltage, regardless of how much current is consumed in the vicinity. In reality, you can typically expect a fluctuation of about
5%. The very low impedance of the power grid, which is well below 1 ohm at 50 Hz, is not maintained when influenced by radio frequencies (> 50 ohm > 100 kHz) and acts like an antenna that practically attracts interference. IsoTek's power filter circuits are designed to reduce impedance, function reliably, and work well into the audio frequency band. Not only solid electrical engineering is used here, but the requirements of electrical safety are also reliably met.
Unlimited Power
IsoTek guarantees an extremely powerful power supply for audio systems, limited only by the capacity of the power provider and any applicable regulations. For devices with high output power such as power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers, or active speakers, IsoTek's components feature high-current outputs that – within the filter concepts – provide unlimited current. At the same time, they enable a larger dynamic range, as the impedance for the return path to the power supply is much greater. Impure current limits the dynamic range.
Only thanks to the development of special components from power engineering was it possible to design the unique IsoTek circuits so that they have a DC resistance of almost zero ohms at the mains frequency of 50 Hz and nevertheless effectively suppress interference above 50/60 Hz
